Record year for port of Antwerp

antwerp (anp) - The port of Antwerp has grown to a new record for the sixth year in a row. From all types of cargoes more was skipped, so the entire port grew by 5.1 percent.
The total transhipment in the largest port in Belgium is expected to amount to 235 million tons, 12 million tons more than in 2017. Container transport, which grew by 5.8 percent, was 130 million tons.
