Record capture lsd in Rhineland-Palatinate
mainz - The German police have seized a record amount of LSD. It involved a total of 49,500 trips in colorful colored papers. In addition, nearly as many xct pills were found. The prosecutor in Mainz presented Monday a batch of drugs totaling 646 kilos with an estimated value of 10 million euros.
Besides a lot of LSD and ecstasy, the catch consisted of hundreds of kilos of marijuana and hash and 26 kilos of amphetamine. The first raids were already made in mid-January, but the case has only just been announced. The police arrested eleven men and a woman in connection with this trafficking and smuggling of drugs. They come from Germany, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine and Belgium. Some have made a partial confession.
Justice in Rhineland-Palatinate tracked the international gang thanks to Swedish customs. This intercepted in May 2017 a large batch of drugs, 350 kilos, in Malmö. The investigation, which extends to include the Netherlands, Great Britain and Norway, has not yet been completed. The criminal group operated from a series of pretense firms to distribute the narcotic, stimulating and hallucinogenic drugs across Europe.
