Reconciliation Marine and Jean-Marie Le Pen

paris - The French political family Le Pen has reconciled to celebrate the birthday of Father Jean-Marie. He recently became ninety. According to French media, his daughters Marine and Marie-Caroline accepted an invitation for a big birthday party, Saturday evening, where hundreds of guests are expected.

Jean-Marie Le Pen is founder of the right-wing radical Front National. His daughter Marine took over in 2011 and since then became involved with her father in a family feud about the course of the party. Where Jean-Marie stuck in extremely right-wing and very conservative circles, Marine wants to turn the party into a populist people's party. In 2015, Marine put her father out of the party. He was allowed to hold his honorary presidency, as the French court ruled earlier this year.

Marine Le Pen is considered to be the far right when it comes to immigration and security, but far-left in the field of economic themes. Under her leadership, the party was renamed from Front National to Rassemblement National (National Collaboration) early this month.
