Rebellious vice president back in South Sudan

The former vice president of South Sudan has arrived in Juba, the capital of his home country, in order to resume his old job. reported
The New York Times. The reappointment of Machar is part of the peace process which has already dragged on months.

It is the first time since Riek Machar its President Salva Kiir in 2013 turned his back, he is back in Juba. Leaders from the region and the United Nations have been struggling to put an end to the civil war in the country.

Nearly two years of peace was negotiated in neighboring Ethiopia. Several times came to a cease-fire, which generally had expired was violated again for the day.
