Rare lizard born in Karlsruhe

karlsruhe - Researchers at the Natural History Museum in the German city of Karlsruhe for the second time managed to breed a crocodile lizard tail. This was announced by the museum Friday. Worldwide, there are only six hundred to eight hundred of these lizards. The brown-green creature is in the wild in China and Vietnam. The crocodile lizard tail is on the so-called red list of critically endangered species.
This lizard species is an excellent swimmer, a half-hour can stay under water, and is up to 45 centimeters long. The nine animals have been born in October. For the time being not to see the lizards for the public. The father and mother are something to see.
