- Police have two railway stations that were closed after the terrorist threat on New Year's Eve in Munich released. However, police in the Bavarian town remain vigilant.

According to Joachim Herrmann (CSU), Interior Minister of the German state of Bavaria, Islamic State is behind the threat. The German intelligence was informed by a friendly intelligence service. Presumably it is the French service. Five to seven people are probably behind the terrorist threat. Police in Munich has started a quest, but still no suspects in the picture.
According to Herrmann warning about a possible attack was so serious that it could not be ignored. Residents of Munich were thereupon called public places where large numbers of people and avoid train stations.
