Pupils free because of cockroach invasion

espenau - Hundreds of pupils in the German Espenau (Hessen) can not go to school due to a large cockroach invasion. The authorities fear that the insects can transmit diseases, reports a spokesperson for the regional government.

Huge numbers of German cockroaches have nestled in the school. As a result, it is probable that lessons will only be given again next Wednesday. In the meantime, experts must make the building cockroach free again. It is still unclear why the insects have been withdrawn in primary school.
