Punishment for posing with severed heads

berlin - A former officer in the Iraqi army has been convicted in Germany because he had his picture taken with two severed heads of slain warriors IS. The 28-year-old man took the court in Berlin for a year and eight months suspended prison sentence for war crimes against persons.

The photo was taken with a phone in March 2015 when the military fought against Islamic State. Two fellow officers would have cut off the heads of killed militants.
