derbyshire - Primary school students have lost sight of a cake that they have sent into space. The transmitter that should have kept the position of the baking is no longer traceable.
Pupils from a school in the English city of Derbyshire had a pudding cake flying into space last Monday by means of a balloon. A transmitter kept track of how high it flew, what the temperature was at that location and took photos along the way. That is what the Telegraph reports.
At the last measurement, the cake turned out to be at a height of 16. 000m and flew above the English town of Saxilby when the contact was broken.
