parkland - Public prosecutors in Florida will demand the death penalty against Nikolas Cruz, the ex-student who was charged with the shooting last month at a high school in Parkland that killed seventeen. This appears from documents submitted to the court on Tuesday.

Cruz has been charged with seventeen cases of murder and seventeen attempts at murder. The attack on 14 February at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School killed fourteen pupils and three staff members.
