Proof: women really can not lose anything in pockets

- While women can not even lose their smartphone, men easily carry all their essential items into the pockets of their jeans. Of course we have known this for a long time, but we are glad that there is now solid evidence. An analysis of science website The Pudding shows that the pockets of a women's trousers are actually a lot smaller than those of men.

About eighty trousers from twenty popular American jeans brands measured the test. Bags of women's trousers appear to be on average 48 percent shorter and 6. 5 percent narrower. Try to put your Samsung Galaxy or your iPhoneX in there!

To exclude the influence of the factor 'length' of the trouser carrier, the researchers used trousers with the same sizes.

With skinny jeans, women's pockets are on average 48 percent or 8.9 centimeters shorter and 6 percent or 7.6 millimeters narrower. With straight jeans that is 46 percent or 8.6 centimeters and 10 percent or 1.5 centimeters.

And the back pockets? There is also a difference. Those of men are slightly deeper, but generally they were about the same width.
