Prime Minister South Korea visits disaster apartment

seoul - South Korean prime minister Lee Nak-yon has visited a flat in the city of Jecheon last Sunday where 29 people died last week due to a fire. The fire arose in the parking garage of the building and grabbed lightning fast.
Lee spoke in Jecheon with relatives of victims and conveyed his sympathy. 'As a man who is responsible for the state, I am without words,' he said. The fire is one of the worst ever in the country.
Lee stated that lessons should be learned from the disaster and that security in the country should be improved. Eyewitnesses reported after the fire that fire alarms, alarm lights and sprinklers did not work.
