President Zuma does not think it is fair

cape town - South African president Jacob Zuma does not find it fair that his party, the ANC (African National Congress), asks him to leave quickly without saying why. Zuma states in an interview with broadcaster SABC that he has done nothing wrong and that no one has told him why he has to leave.

He finds the way in which he is treated by the ANC management very unfair. He has, in his own words, pledged to resign as president in June. Why Zuma is now in a position to understand why there is so much haste now.

The fraction of the ANC in the South African parliament has announced Thursday that it will submit a vote of no confidence against Zuma, which is controversial by a whole series of corruption scandals. He would be succeeded by party member Cyril Ramaphosa who has been vice president since December.
