President Venezuela praises its own cryptocurrency, the 'petro'

Maduro has, according to Venezuelan media, introduced the petro along with all the other crypto coins as the bitcoin as a valid currency in all diplomatic branches of the country and in civil aviation in Venezuela. The government is taking measures to introduce petro into the tourism sector. According to Maduro, a percentage of the size of transactions with the state oil company Pdvsa will also be settled in petros from last Tuesday.
