The couple was having dinner at the popular hot spot restaurant Xiabu Xiabu in Weifang, when the woman found a little baby rat in her dish. The catering manager responded remarkably after the discovery. 'If you worry about the baby, we'll give you 20000 Chinese yuan for an abortion,' he told the couple. He also offered 5000 yuan for a hospital visit.

The local Food and Welfare Authority was notified of the incident and decided to temporarily close the tent until the case is back in order. The restaurant responded in a statement that they always put food safety first and make the necessary improvements.
