the hague - In the body of the Croatian former General Slobodan Praljak a concentration of potassium cyanide has been found. That substance probably led to heart failure.

This is evident from the preliminary results of toxicological research, according to the Public Prosecution Service. The definitive cause of death will come out as soon as the investigation is completed.

Praljak committed suicide on Wednesday at the Yugoslavia Tribunal by taking poison. He was recently sentenced to 20 years in prison for war crimes.
