Police take illegal fireworks seized

- The police this week different parties illegal fireworks seized. In a parking lot a truck was found in Olst containing 700 kilos of illegal fireworks in Zwaag had a 31-year-old man 79 kilos of the toughest and most dangerous fireworks are in his barn and car. Police officers beat him boxes called cobras, nitrates and butterflies.

In both cases, a tip put police on the right track. Both the 31-year-old man from Zwaag as the 25 year old owner of the truck in Olst were arrested.

Selling and buying illegal fireworks is illegal. On trade and on its own is a maximum sentence of six years.
