Police do raids on SS

dortmund - The German police has investigated the homes of three former SS officers. It involves members of the SS Panzer Division Hitler Youth, who are suspected to have been involved in the assassination of 86 people in the northern French city of Ascq.

The suspects live in places in the states of Saxony and Lower Saxony. All three have declared to have been a member of the division, but denied that they have had to do with the killings. On April 1, 1944 raided members of the Hitler Youth Division the town as a result of sabotage against a German freight train. 86 people were victims of reprisal by the SS.

Even when members of the division that have not been charged, raids were made. At some documents were confiscated, said the prosecutor.
