The court held that although the officers were under great pressure during the nearly three-month protests, but that the abuse was not good to talk. By their action, the agents 'great damage to the reputation of Hong Kong in the international community. '
Crackdown Police is relatively rare in Hong Kong. The former British crown colony returned under the authority of China in 1997, but with a greater degree of autonomy and freedom than the rest of the People's Republic.
