Police arrest 15-year busovervaller

amsterdam - Police on Tuesday arrested a fifteen year old boy who allegedly committed an armed robbery on a bus from the Amsterdam public transport company GVB.

The had everywhere January 13 place at a bus stop at the intersection IJdoornlaan and Volendammerweg in Amsterdam. The robber was masked and armed with a shotgun inside the bus and threatened the driver. Which had to give money and personal belongings.

A week later, the police put the camera images taken online on the bus. On the basis of tips after display of the images in local and national screening the police managed to track down the alleged offender.
