tokio - The mobile game Pokémon Go celebrates Thursday is its one-year existence. Over a year, users of the raging popular game caught more than 125 billion Pokémons, making the makers known on Thursday.

Due to the anniversary, developer Niantic has processed all sorts of extras in the game. For example, until July 24, a special Pikachu with the cap of his trainer Ash can be caught. There are also parties and gatherings throughout the world.

Pokémon Go became a hit right after the app was released. Throughout the world tens of millions of people went up the street to catch the monsters. Pokémon Go also downloaded massively in the Netherlands. In the fall of 2016 the game was installed on 1.8 million Dutch smartphones.
