Photographer Lixenberg Spotify sues

amsterdam - The Dutch photographer Dana Lixenberg has filed a lawsuit against streaming service Spotify. Having her photo of rapper The Notorious B.I.G. put up the list of his music. Without her consent, according to NME and Lixenberg says Billboard.com.

'Not content with just robbing musicians, on whose backs Spotify has built a billion-dollar company, Spotify now steals photographers,' according to a lawsuit filed in California.

Lixenberg made the black and white photographs around 1996. The Notorious B. I. G. was shot dead a year later in Los Angeles.
