Petraeus Flynn does not follow as security adviser

west palm beach - David Petraeus is no longer a candidate to become national security adviser to President Donald Trump. The retired general and former CIA chief, this weekend was not in Florida to talk to the president, said a government official.
Petraeus was on a list to follow Michael Flynn. Who served this week his resignation after he had provided 'incomplete information' about his telephone conversations with the Russian ambassador to the US before Trump was actually president.
Petraeus has fallen because of disagreements over who goes about staffing decisions within the National Security Council. Another candidate successor, former Vice Admiral Bob Harward, the function previously rejected due to family circumstances and financial reasons.
