People missing after bridge collapse in India

- 22 people are missing in western India after the collapse of a bridge over a river, which dates from the British colonial period. The high water hampered the rescue efforts, according to the emergency services.

The accident occurred Wednesday in the state of Maharashtra, about 170 kilometers south of the metropolis of Mumbai. In any case, two buses and probably multiple passenger cars crashed in the water.
