- A top executive of Google is no longer welcome in the board of Uber. Wall Street Journal reports that David Drummond, Google's vice president of parent company Alphabet, resigned at Uber because of a conflict of interest between the two companies.
The Information could previously reported that Uber Drummond for some time shut out of meetings. The conflict probably refers to the fact that both companies compete in the field of self-propelled vehicles.
Drummond said in a statement that Google continues to work with Uber.
