amsterdam - After a long-lasting collaboration with users, Apple and PayPal have now collapsed. Since Wednesday, people can pay for purchases in the App Store, the iTunes Store, and Apple Music through, among others, the Netherlands.

Buyers can select PayPal as a payment method on all their Apple devices, like their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac, or in iTunes through their PC. The additional payment method, according to PayPal, provides a greater choice when buying apps, music, movies, TV shows, books, Apple Music subscriptions, and iCloud storage. Up to now, it was only possible to use a credit card or iTunes Gift Cards. Previously, there was a collaboration with ClickAndBuy, but this was broken by Apple.

PayPal customers with a new or existing Apple ID can select PayPal as a payment method. Once selected, all purchases of that Apple ID will automatically be charged to the PayPal account in the future. Also, purchases via PayPal OneTouch are possible through Apple devices such as Apple TV and Apple Watch.

Apple customers can pay in multiple countries since wednesday via PayPal.
