Passengers rescued from burning ferry

whakatane - The 57 passengers and crew from a burning ferry off the coast of New Zealand are all rescued, police said Monday. Two people were taken to hospital. An inhaled smoke, another is injured by jumping into the water.

The boat caught fire off the coast of Whakatane in the northeast of the North Island of New Zealand. It is not yet known how the fire started.
