miami - The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and Matthew Otto deleted as names for hurricanes. Storms that name last year sowed death and destruction in the Caribbean, Central America and the US

Hurricanes have names assigned on the basis of the alphabet and a list. Otto is the drop Owen and Matthew Martin will be, as the WMO announced Tuesday.
