Oldest person deceased in the world

- The oldest man in the world, the US Susannah Mushatt Jones, on Thursday in New York deceased at 116 years old.

Jones was born in 1899 in a small village near Montgomery in Alabama. She grew up with ten siblings.

Last year, Jones according to the Guinness World Records book, the oldest man in the world when the 117-year-old Misao Okawa passed away in Tokyo. Now the 116-year-old Italian Emma Morana would be the oldest.
