- Jose Coelho de Souza of Brazil's 131 years old and the oldest person in the world ever. At least, his age is on a birth certificate. Evidence or not, the Brazilian Institute for Social Security draws the authenticity of the document after, even if only from bureaucratic considerations. The Brazilian government draws from anyone over 90 years after he or she lives and consequently to receive benefits.


         According to the Brazilian magazine O Globo is the old Jose a retired rubber tapper, someone who bleeds oil from rubber trees. He lives in the northern province of Acre and in any case one daughter. This Cirlene is only 30 years old. Her explanation is simple: Jose fathered her when he was only 101. According to the daughter, her old father currently totally dependent on others and he recognizes his descendants no longer.
Appears to be correct, the claim of Coelho de Souza, he beat the Frenchwoman Jeanne Calment of age, who died in 1997 at age 122.
