jakarta/palu - During the earthquake and tsunami last Friday on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, 1407 people were killed. This has communicated the emergency response. The number of wounded has risen to over 2,500.
The damage in the affected area in the northwest of the island is enormous. According to the Jakarta Post, the electricity company PLN said that the damage to the network in Palu is much greater than with similar disasters in Aceh on Sumatra (2004) and on Lombok (2018).
