'Obama wants more German involvement in NATO '

hannover - US President Barack Obama wants during his visit to Hannover insist on more German involvement in NATO's deterrent of Russia. That the influential magazine Der Spiegel reported Sunday.

The German army sent 5,500 soldiers this year on exercise and training to the eastern member states of NATO. The majority goes to Poland and the Baltic countries, which border Russia.
