Obama pays tribute to Shakespeare

london - US President Barack Obama on Saturday on the second day of his stay in London visited the famous Globe Theatre.

The visit was a tribute to the British theater poet William Shakespeare, who died Saturday exactly four hundred years ago.

Globe is a modern replica of the theater where Shakespeare dramas staged.

Obama responded later at a meeting request from a select group of citizens. Friday he had warned in no uncertain terms against a British exit from the EU. Proponents of a Brexit 'reproached him this an unwarranted interference in the referendum which shall be held in June.

Sunday, the US president will travel to Hanover, where he met German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
