Obama Meets Castro

havana - US President Barack Obama on Monday in Havana received by Cuban President Raul Castro at the beginning of historic talks between the two countries on economic and democratic reforms and US sanctions.

Obama arrived on Sunday with Cuba, fifteen months after he and Castro had agreed to end five decades of Cold War and normalize relations. On the first day of his visit, Obama went to the heart of the Cuban communist system, the Revolution Square, where he laid a wreath at the monument of independence hero José Martí.
