North Korean minister to Sweden

stockholm - The North Korean Foreign Minister, Ri Yong-ho, will be visiting Sweden very soon.

This reported the Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter. The Swedish Foreign Minister does not comment. The Swedish embassy in Pyongyang represents the interests of the United States because the US and North Korea have no diplomatic relations.

On Thursday night, the White House in Washington confirmed that President Trump accepts an invitation from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to meet in May.

Should the meeting between Trump and Kim continue, it is the first time in history that an American president and a North Korean leader meet and speak. After the Korean War (1950-1953), there has never been a peace treaty between Stalinist-ruled North Korea and its main opponents, South Korea and the US.
