'North Korea accidentally bombed own city'

north korea - Last year, North Korea accidentally hit its own city after a failed missile test. That reports online news magazine The Diplomat. On satellite images one could see how a Hwasong rocket hits a building in Tokchon, a city with 200,000 inhabitants. No deaths would have occurred.

The Hwasong KN-17 mid-range missile was fired at Pukchang airport. That city is located about sixty kilometers north of the capital Pyongyang.

Just after the launch something would have gone wrong, according to The Diplomat. The rocket might have hit a factory or a warehouse in Tokchon.
