miami - The National Hurricane Center has scaled heavy hurricane Florence to category 3 on Wednesday. However, the danger that is particularly threatening for the coastal areas in South and North Carolina remains unchanged. Houses with huge waves and enormous amounts of rain are expected.

According to the NHC, the center of Florence is now about 755 kilometers east-southeast of Myrtle Beach, between Charleston and Wilmington. Wind speeds of 205 kilometers per hour are measured. Although the hurricane will probably decrease in strength again on Thursday evening, the meteorological institute in Miami will continue to warn against extreme weather.
