New UN resolution on Syria gas attack

new york - The United States, the United Kingdom and France on Tuesday proposed a new UN resolution which strongly condemned the deadly gas attack in Syria. The resolution will probably be voted Wednesday.

It is also Secretary-General of the UN, António Guterres, asked for a monthly report of the Syrian government to cooperate with an international investigation into the use of chemical weapons in the country.

The resolution is a reaction to the air attack with chemical weapons in the Syrian province of Idlib. The attack would have required around sixty lives. The UN Security Council is going to find out who is responsible, though many countries that the regime of Bashar al-Assad is behind.
