New name for spot Istanbul bombings

- Where Saturday bloody attacks perpetrated in Istanbul has been renamed. The hill now called Martyr Hill, state news agency Anadolu reported Monday.
The increase was formerly named Belestepe, or 'free hill. That name was due to the view of the former İnönü Stadium. Fans who could not afford a ticket, so could still share in competitions.
The local government, according to Anadolu also plans to erect a monument to honor the victims of the bombings, in which at least 44 people were killed. The terrorist violence was claimed by the Kurdish group TAK, an offshoot of the Kurdish PKK movement.
