mountain view - Internet investigators have discovered a new group of hackers based on countries in South America and South-East Asia. According to Symantec security company experts, 'classic espionage', of which diplomats and members of governments are targets.
Whoever is exactly behind the hackers group Sowbug is not clear. Presumably, it is a group in an Asian country.
The security company is unlikely to say that North Korea is behind the espionage because of the way it happens. The group uses malicious software that has not been seen before.
Among the affected countries are Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Malaysia and Brunei.
