Netflix able to download series and movies

- Users of online streaming service Netflix do while watching not necessarily more have an active Internet connection. The service allows customers now to download certain shows and movies.

This allows them to be viewed now as the device on which they are played, is online, for example on the plane. In the past, Netflix has just negative about this option, but rival Amazon may now also offers. Perhaps the company therefore felt the pressure to go along with this.

Incidentally, not all videos offered by Netflix are downloaded. Currently it seems that largely own series of the company are presented in this manner, but also films like 50 Shades of Grey and series like Breaking Bad are possible.
