Nearly 60 people evacuated to poisoning

- Eleven adults and 46 children Thursday from a French multimedia center evacuated because they may have suffered carbon monoxide poisoning.

Thursday morning were in the basement of the center in Douvrin any work on the heating by two workers who were unwell. Then the emergency services were called, which uitrukten masse.

The children were placed in the wedding hall of the town of Douvrin, reports the newspaper La Voix du Nord. None of them suffered severe poisoning on. Some complained about well head and abdominal pain. The two workers are hospitalized.

Carbon monoxide poisoning can cause headaches and nausea, and in the worst case lead to death.
