Nearly 100 tech companies against US entry ban

washington - Nearly one hundred US tech companies have joined in the lawsuit about the entry ban on citizens from seven Muslim countries. Among the companies are household names like Apple, Microsoft, Google, Uber, Airbnb, eBay and Mozilla.

The 97 firms showed register Monday. They argue that by Donald Trump issued travel ban harms their interests, since it is difficult to bring in staff, the broadcaster CBS reported.

A judge in Seattle on Friday that given the restrictions on admission to the US must be lifted immediately. The case was brought by the State of Washington and later got support from Minnesota. The restrictions for citizens from Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, Somalia and Syria had issued a presidential decree.

A US federal court rejected this weekend the request from the US Department of Justice to enforce the controversial travel ban.
