Navalni gets 30 days in jail

moscow - Russian opposition leader Alexej Navalni has once again been guilty of organizing illicit demonstrations against President Vladimir Putin ('He is not our Tsar') and disobedience to the police. He was therefore sentenced to 30 days' imprisonment on Tuesday, due to his role in the protest actions on 5 May.
Navalni was arrested during the demonstration at Pushkin Square in Moscow but released a day later while awaiting trial. According to The Moscow Times, Navalni was one and a half week ago one of the estimated 1,600 opponents of Putin who were arrested.
