Nancy Reagan was born Anne Francis Robbins and studied drama. After her studies she worked as a nurse and sales assistant in a department store. Through her mother she later got a small acting role and she took her stage name Nancy Davis.

Nancy met actor Ronald Reagan in 1951 and married a year later. Eventually, Ronald Reagan was the fortieth president of the United States from 1981 to 1989.
