Mysterious 'mini-shuttle' back on earth

cape canaveral - An experimental American spacecraft was landed in Florida after almost two years on Sunday. The unmanned Boeing X-37B spent more than 700 days in a job around the Earth, where it performed a secret mission.

The device, which looks like a small version of a space shuttle, landed at the Kennedy Space Center. The approximately 9 meter long X-37B did not pass into space for so long. The longest of three previous missions with such an unmanned mini shuttle lasted 22 months.

The air force spacecraft is surrounded with riddles. It is unclear what kind of price tag on the X-37B is. The air force sent an e-mail on Sunday that the devices could be used to test space technology.

The United States has two of the unmanned devices, which are housed in hangars that were once used for spaceshuttles. The air force plans to send an X-37B later this year.
