harare - The Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe would eventually have agreed that he should step up. The news channel CNN reported from Harare that those involved have drawn up a letter of resignation.

Robert and his wife Grace Mugabe are guaranteed that they will not be criminally prosecuted and 'enjoy complete immunity'.
