BEIJING (AFN / BLOOMBERG)- Chinese imports were much weaker than expected in December. That turned out Friday from customs figures. On the other hand, exports grew stronger than anticipated.

Imports increased by 0.9 percent year-on-year. Economists averaged 11.8 percent in average. Exports increased by 7.4 percent compared to last year, where experts calculated 6.7 percent. This was calculated in yuan. The trade surplus amounted to 362 billion yuan.
