Much more Airbnb bookings in summer

amsterdam - More than 650,000 Dutch last summer booked an apartment, cottage or room via Airbnb. That is over 60 percent more compared to last year, the NOS report based on figures from the company.
Most people, more than 587. 000, found through the online property rental accommodation abroad. Paris was the most popular destination, followed by Lisbon, Barcelona, Budapest and Prague. Within the country hired the most people in Amsterdam. The Hague, Rotterdam, Groningen and Maastricht completed the top five.
Airbnb landlords in the Netherlands this summer received a total of 415 000 visitors from home and abroad.
