Mother dies after a banana boat ride

hurghada - A British mother died before the eyes of her daughter, after a ride with a banana boat. According to reports, the mother was stuck under water after the boat turned. Resuscitation attempts came too late; the woman died on the spot.

The tragic accident took place last week in a resort in the Egyptian city of Hurghada. Travel organization Thomas Cook started an investigation because the dolphin excursion in which the woman participated was booked by them.

After the excursion, the groups of participants could take a ride on the banana boat. The mother was launched into the water when the boat swooped through the waves and the speed. She was the only person on board who was 'caught' under the inflated banana.
